I Imagine They’re Still There is a series of pieces composed in quarantine during the COVID-19 Pandemic of 2020.

During the pandemic, I opened the notepad app on my phone, and I wrote down the phrase I Imagine They’re Still There.

Then I started to list places in Philly that I loved. Places that I missed. Places that I couldn’t go, as I sheltered in place at home.

One by one, I sat down at the piano and imagined those spaces, and answered my memories with music.
